Luscious no-bake layers with vibrant guava marmalade swirls for a tropical twist

# What You'll Need:

→ Crust

01 - 7 oz digestive biscuits, crushed
02 - 2.6 oz unsalted butter, melted

→ Cheesecake Filling

03 - 14 oz cream cheese, softened
04 - 4.2 oz powdered sugar
05 - 1 cup heavy cream, cold
06 - 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
07 - 1 tablespoon fresh lime juice

→ Guava Swirl

08 - 6.3 oz guava marmalade
09 - 2 tablespoons water

# Directions:

01 - In a medium bowl, combine crushed digestive biscuits with melted butter until evenly mixed. Press mixture firmly into the base of a 9-inch springform pan. Refrigerate while preparing filling.
02 - In a large bowl, beat softened cream cheese and powdered sugar until smooth and creamy. Mix in vanilla extract and lime juice until well incorporated.
03 - In a separate bowl, whip cold heavy cream to stiff peaks using an electric mixer or whisk.
04 - Gently fold whipped cream into cream cheese mixture using a rubber spatula until fully incorporated and smooth.
05 - In a small saucepan over low heat, combine guava marmalade with water. Stir until smooth and slightly runny. Cool to room temperature.
06 - Pour half of cheesecake filling over chilled crust. Drizzle half of guava marmalade over filling and use a skewer or knife to create gentle swirls. Add remaining filling and repeat swirling with remaining marmalade.
07 - Cover cheesecake and refrigerate for at least 6 hours or overnight until completely set.
08 - Carefully remove cheesecake from springform pan. Slice with a clean knife and serve chilled.

# Expert Advice:

01 -
  • It's no-bake, which means your kitchen stays cool and your stress level even cooler, especially when hosting.
  • The guava-lime combination is bold enough to impress but not so heavy that anyone needs a nap afterward.
  • You can make it the day before, which is basically cheating your way to looking like you have your life together.
02 -
  • If your cream cheese wasn't softened, your filling will be lumpy and no amount of mixing fixes it—plan ahead and leave it on the counter for thirty minutes.
  • Over-whipping the heavy cream turns it into butter, which is not the vibe; stop the moment you see stiff peaks and walk away.
  • The guava marmalade must be completely cooled before swirling or it will melt the filling underneath and blur your beautiful pattern.
03 -
  • Add lime zest on top just before serving for an extra pop of color and a hint of citrus aroma that hits people when they lean in to eat.
  • If you can't find guava marmalade, passion fruit or mango marmalade work beautifully and give you the same tropical effect with slightly different flavor notes.
